Join us for a discussion exploring Michael Tippett’s A Child of Our Time and Paul Hindemith’s Mathis der Maler, two works shaped by the turmoil of 1930s Europe. We’ll examine the historical forces surrounding their creation, the questions of faith, conscience, humanity, and artistic responsibility at their core, and why their themes continue to resonate across generations.
