The New York Choral Society will showcase its talented 165 member voices in a festive-family friendly program sure to get you in the spirit of the season.  Featuring traditional Christmas and Chanukah favorites, this concert will also include popular international songs and stylish classics, such as O Christmas Tree, Carol of the Bells, Chanukah, O Chanukah, I Wonder as I Wander and A Musicological Journey Through the Twelve Days of Christmas. In addition, the NYCS will present two newly orchestrated Chanukah pieces, S'vivon and Haneirat Halalu by Meir Finkelstein. No holiday concert would be complete without the beloved "Hallelujah Chorus" from Handel's Messiah.

This year, stepping slightly aside from tradition, the NYCS will perform Hallelujah! A Soulful Celebration, Quincy Jones' contemporary take on the classic arranged by Mervin Jones, Michael O. Jackson and Mark Kibble. John Daly Goodwin will conduct the NYCS and the Brooklyn Philharmonic in one of the world's greatest concert halls.
